Year 1

Session 1: Learn the importance of Records for Diagnosis. Learn the importance of Bracket Placement using typodonts and sterile teeth. Learn exactly what "Straight Wire" means (Straight Wire is a registered trademark of "A" Company Inc.). Learn how to use the CSW methodology in our charting system to lead to proper diagnosis and Treatment.

Session 2: Learn to trace cephalometyric x-rays and use simple Jacobsen templates to lead to proper diagnosis. Learn to use photographs to predict final interceptive outcomes.

Session 3: See treatment techniqutes and learn what, when & how to do mechanics. Learn to use and manipulate Archwires and auxiliary force systems.

Session 4: Learn early treatment timing. Learn to use growth and development to your advantage through interceptive functional therapy.

Session 5: Learn how to start early and to finnish with our goal of "Treat To The Face". Learn both extraction (serial) & non extraction techniqutes. See how to avoid T.M.D. problems.

 

Year 2

Session 6: Learn the business of orthodontics. Learn to look for airway problems early. Learn " Mulligan Mechanics" Part I and learn to apply knowledge to typodonts-hands on.

Session 7: Learn, review and practise on sterile teeth, selective air rotor stripping. Also learn "Mulligan Mechanics" Part II and learn more about Diagnostic treatment planning.

Session 8: Learn at least 10 methods to distalize molars and when to use them. Learn "Mulligan Mechanics" Part III. Learn about invisible treatment choices and how to finish your case with positioners and retainers.

Session 9: Review extractions and non extraction criteria through applying knowledge of facial length and vertical analysis. Learn to apply soft tissue facial analysis to "Treat to the Face". Learn about orthognathic surgery and methods to treat sleep apnea.

Session 10: Learn about special brackets, review diagnostic & treatment objectives and review applied mechanical and functional knowledge learned.

  
     
  
Why 10 Sessions - 2 Years?
In order to be comparable to a 2 year " Residency" program and in order to start and finish cases within the course, doctors need 2 years. Why would you think any less would be required?
